Exporting a Committed Schedule for the Shop Floor in EDGEBIC

Step 1: Commit the Schedule
Start from a committed plan. Run Drive Schedule, review the result, and let it commit. The Job View now shows every operation across the plant, each bar in its work center row, with columns for job number, work center, planned start and end, and hours. This grid is the master view, and the distribution copies all flow from it.
Step 2: Export the Whole Plan to Excel
The Job View grid ships a dedicated Excel snapshot button. Click it and EDGEBIC writes the grid exactly as displayed, with your current filters, sort order, and column layout, to an .xlsx file. What you see is what you get: if the grid is showing next week sorted by start time, the export carries next week sorted by start time.
The Workcenter Details grid and the BOR data grid carry the same snapshot button, so the pattern is consistent across the screens a planner uses most. And any grid in the application supports the standard right-click, then Export to Excel or CSV, so even a screen without the dedicated button can be exported.
Step 3: Slice It by Work Center
Five supervisors rarely want the whole plant; each wants their own area. The move is to filter first, then export, once per area.
Open the Job View and filter to one work center, say HEAT-1. The grid now shows only HEAT-1's operations. Click the Excel snapshot button, and the export carries exactly those filtered rows. Repeat for the next area. Alternatively, the per-work-center schedule view already isolates one machine's booked hours by day, which is the natural station work list.
Because every export is a snapshot of what is on screen, the filter is the work list. Set it deliberately and you hand each supervisor a clean, area-specific sheet instead of a plant-wide dump they have to sift.
Step 4: Print the Operator Dispatch List
For labor rather than machines, the Dispatch tab under Daily Hours is purpose-built. It shows a read-only per-operator daily work list drawn from the committed plan, grouped by operator and date, with per-group hour sums, and filtered by a date window and an operator selector. This is what a supervisor prints at the start of a shift: each person's dated assignments, in order. It reads from the plan's operator bookings, so it always matches the schedule the machines are running.
Step 5: Understand What Exports, and What Does Not
Here is the honest boundary, and it matters.
The grid snapshot exports are formatted for people to read. They are deliberately not the import file format, and they do not round-trip. You cannot export the Job View, edit it in Excel, and re-import it as a schedule. That is by design: the snapshot is a distribution copy, not a data-exchange format.
When you genuinely need data to move between systems, EDGEBIC uses import and export masks, the structured layer covered in importing master data with Excel masks.
